Article: Senior DB managers dismissed. (World Report).

GERMAN Rail (DB) has been forced to rethink its controversial fares structure, which it introduced at the end of last year, following a 13.5% reduction in turnover and a 7.1% fall in long-distance passenger traffic for the first quarter of this year. In addition, DB's supervisory board has dismissed Dr Christoph Franz, who was head of the passenger division, and his marketing manager, Mr Hans-Gustav Koch. This has resulted in a number of senior management changes at DB and a reduction in the size of DB's board of management.
