John Dittrich has one some diehards might not know.
DuPage is the largest county in Illinois without a minor-league baseball team, he says. And it was just a matter of time before team owners started checking out the area for possible ballpark sites.
Dittrich is a consultant representing one of three groups interested in basing a minor-league franchise in a proposed sports complex at Benedictine University in Lisle.
