Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Greg Norton walked to force home Todd Helton
with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth inning, as the Colorado
Rockies defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-6, in the opener of a three-game
set at Coors Field.
Helton homered twice and scored three times in the winning effort for
Colorado, which won its third straight game. Jay Payton added three runs
batted in, as the Rockies managed to produce seven runs on just seven hits.
