Jul. 12--Barbara Brock knows most of the children who walk into her downtown Fredericksburg toy store by name.
The owner of FUNdaMENTALS has probably helped them build their science fair projects or taught them how to create masks during one of her many parties.
But the popular children's activity store, which has been open for six years, will close its doors at the end of the month.
Brock said sales have dropped as Zany Brainy and Target have lured shoppers.
