CONCORD, N.H. _ George Garos, a salesman at Pitchfork Records on Main Street in Concord, is as familiar with politics in this one-area-code state as he is the latest Jewel CD.
He adroitly summed up the head-scratching going on in New Hampshire, the first primary state, over John Edwards' campaign for the Democrats' 2004 presidential nomination.
"I thought he was going to make a bigger splash here than he did," said Garos, 52. "There was that New Yorker piece about a year ago."
