Jul. 13--The amount of money in money market funds today tops $2.2 trillion with $40 billion more having come in over just the past month. That statistic reminded me of Norman G. Fosbach, the founder of the newsletter "Mutual Fund Forecaster" and the author of the book "Stock Market Logic." Norm's last name reminds me of the Al Capp comic strip detective named "Fearless Fosdick," who always managed to continue fighting crime after being shot full of holes like a piece of Swiss cheese.
