Hungary falls in EIU's business environment rankings

Budapest. July 16. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Like most countries in the world, Hungary has become a better place to do business than it was five years ago, according to the business environment rankings of the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), released Wednesday. However, the improvements have not quite kept pace with international developments, and thus Hungary has fallen to 28th on the list for the 2003-2007 period, compared to 26th in 1998-2002.
