GaAs MMICs: Some Lessons from Silicon
As gallium arsenide (GaAs) monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs) move into production, they are beginning to suffer some of the same growing pains that silicon chips experienced in the past. This article examines several of the lessons that have been learned by the silicon industry and hints at their possible impact on the GaAs community.
