Simplicity is best when it comes to share-dealing services, according to voters in the Best Stockbroker category of our awards. As well as flat-rate trading fees, voters were also keen on services that allowed them to trade online and in real time, and they favoured services offering detailed market and company commentary.

The winner this year is Halifax Share Dealing, which romped home by a clear margin to take first prize.
