Even the best-quality studies fail to show "consistently or meaningfully" that vitamins reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, a US review has concluded. The US Preventive Services Task Force), a group of health experts that assesses published research and makes recommendations about preventive health care, also found no convincing evidence that vitamins could prevent cancer.
