Jul. 17--OFFICIALS' EXPLANATIONS SHOULDN'T BE IN FINE PRINT: Ever since a Pioneer Press investigative report this week revealed that Gov. Tim Pawlenty and state Auditor Pat Awada were hooked up to a telecommunications company alleged to have conned customers in several states, I've been trying to think of another business venture that would be better positioned to cheese off the entire voting population.
There's health insurance with those annual double-digit premium increases that always seem to come along with headlines about all the neat golfing vacations ...
