Republican lawmakers said they planned to reintroduce a measure today allowing citizens to carry concealed weapons after the state Supreme Court ruled Tuesday such conduct is legal in limited cases.
In the court's majority opinion, Supreme Court Justice David Prosser urged the Legislature to clarify an apparent conflict between a 131-year state ban on carrying hidden weapons and a recent amendment to the state constitution protecting citizens' rights to bear arms.
