The high-rise downtown taking shape in White Plains could be the shape of things to come for Paramus, N.J., as the nation's largest shopping mecca looks to the county seat for ideas about its next phase of commercial development.
Paramus Mayor James J. Tedesco III said he wants his community to emulate many of the economic development principles that have allowed White Plains to shepherd more than $1 billion in new projects since 2000.
