The newest chief executive at Mount Sinai Medical Center forecasts a bright future for the hospital. A year and a half after a well-publicized crisis resulting from the death of a liver donor, Dr. Kenneth Davis sees the institution recovering its reputation and attracting more patients. He says the hospital will break even next year.
"There's a sense that we're moving again,'' Dr. Davis says. "The beating is over.''
