When Chris Shaw bought a place in Roxbury's Fort Hill neighborhood recently, he found what he was looking for - a diverse community close to downtown, with affordable prices and great views.
"This is one of the safest, most engaging and inviting places I've ever lived," says Shaw, 42. "I'd recommend it to anyone."
P.S.: Shaw is white.
So are Hilarie Cranmer and Ian Cartwright, who last spring bought a Fort Hill condo they live in with their two infant children.
