The European Union wants to prevent Wisconsin cheese plants from making mozzarella, provolone, Swiss and a lot of other cheeses that EU countries claim as their own. The Wisconsin congressional delegation ought to make sure U.S. trade negotiators stand firm against this plan to protect European interests at the expense of Wisconsin cheese makers and consumers.
