REAL Software, Inc. announced today its plans to support Linux in REALbasic 5.5, the next major upgrade to the award-winning cross-platform visual development environment. REALbasic enables developers to create native applications for multiple platforms from a single code base. REALbasic 5, currently shipping, creates applications for Windows and Macintosh from either platform. REALbasic 5.5 will add the ability to create Linux applications from Windows or Macintosh computers.
