It takes chutzpah, quicksilver creativity and a touch of madness to tackle, onstage, stage and screen legend Orson Welles. After all, "Citizen Kane," the 1941 masterwork of the auteur born in Kenosha, Wis., was created by the same feverish imagination that also made a number of bombs. In fact, one could easily imagine Welles zigzagging across the line between insanity and genius in all of his works.
