W.K. Kellogg Foundation Launches National Campaign to Fight 'Silent Crisis' In Men's Health.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its commitment to meet the health needs of the nation's medically underserved, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation today launched a public education campaign to improve men's health, with actor-activist Danny Glover.

The campaign goal is to issue a wake-up call alerting the nation to a "silent health crisis" affecting the nation's men, whose health status has generally deteriorated in recent decades, due to neglect on men's part, lack of access to health care, underfunded research in male-specific diseases and other barriers to medical care.
