Fort Wayne, Ind.-Based Contractor Builds Huge Grocery Warehouse near Boston.

Jul. 21--FORT WAYNE, Ind.--Tippmann Construction is taking a giant leap with its latest project -- a grocery warehouse two and a half times larger than anything the Fort Wayne-based company has built before.

The Stop & Shop distribution centers south of Boston will sprawl over 1.3 million s...uare feet on a 135-acre site. The center is unusually large for the space-constrained northeast. But an available 500-acre tract and Stop & Shop's continued growth combined to make the $103 million project a reality.
