NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- For the first time ever, the final nominees of select categories for the CMA Awards will be announced live on national television during "The Early Show" on the CBS Television Network. "The Early Show" News Anchor Hannah Storm will be in Nashville to present the invitation only event to viewers across the country, as host Martina McBride (the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year) and special guests Rascal Flatts (the reigning CMA Horizon Award winners) announce the highly anticipated nominations from the stage of the world-famous Grand Ole Opry House on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 8:30 AM/EDT (7:30 AM/CDT).
