KATY SEXTON won Britain's second medal at these championships last night, taking joint silver with Louise Ornstedt of Denmark in the 100metres backstroke - but she will look back on a missed chance to become world champion.
Sexton's state-of the-art body suit split down the back as she prepared to take to the water but, while the incident clearly distracted her, she should still have capitalised on the absence of world record-holder Natalie Coughlin to take the gold.
In the end, she finished well down on Antje Buschshulte of Germany, although Sexton remained upbeat. 'I have to be pleased with that but I was a bit nervous when ...
