Having recently opened in Kentish Town, we have to re-measure and re-value every property on the books of the firm we've taken over. This is a major job, so I was not happy to be called about a water leak in an empty twobedroom terraced house we are selling for the owner, who is in America.
Discovered the sitting room under water, thanks to a loo cistern leak upstairs, which must have been overflowing all weekend. Arranged for the sodden carpets to be removed, a loss adjuster to come and brought in some dehumidifiers.
