An 11-year-old boy was fighting for his life today with injuries he suffered in a car accident Tuesday in the town of Montrose.
Dane County sheriff's deputies said the crash occurred at 5:46 p.m. on Highway 69, about a quarter mile west of County PB, when a pickup truck driven by Joseph A. Coglianese, 23, pulled out of a driveway and was struck broadside by an eastbound 2000 Daewoo.
Sheriff's Sgt. Lorie Wiessinger said Coglianese was trying to turn around to help someone he saw with a flat tire. He was expected to be cited for failing to yield.
