A company that was denied a permit to open a waste transfer station in Clay has filed notice it may sue 10 municipalities and public agencies in Central New York that opposed the project.
Evergreen Recycling blames the groups for "individual and combined improper efforts" that it claims persuaded the state Department of Environmental Conservation to deny a permit July 16.
The company, based in Phoenix, Oswego County, also told the state it wants to appeal the DEC's decision to reject the permit. The DEC has about 45 days to schedule a public hearing before a ...
