Not every house in Syracuse has five European fireplaces, or a bedroom with a leather floor, or a walk-in closet with cherry cabinets and forest-green suede walls, or 10,000 square feet of indoor living space.

It has, by far, the highest residential tax assessment in the city ($750,000).
