Fifty years ago this Sunday, an armistice ended the ``Korean Conflict' - the forgotten war.
Forgotten by many Americans but by not those who fought there.
Norfolk-native Harvey L. Lindsay Jr. was one. The former Marine officer, now a business and civic leader, saw action during the last months of the war, right up until the official cease fire was declared on July 27, 1953.
Now there's an opportunity for Hampton Roads residents to better understand the experience of the veterans like Lindsay and the people of the Korean peninsula. Norfolk's MacArthur Memorial Museum has created a major exhibit, ...
