CORRECTION: Grandmaster Flash was incorrectly identified as Grandmaster Flash Money in an informational graphic with a story ("Hip-hop camp brings culture to Norfolk youths") in the July 24 issue of The Compass. Also, Jonathan "D.J. Fingatipps" Ramirez was incorrectly identified as "D.J. Finga Tipps" in a photo caption. And DJ Kool Herc was inspired by James Brown, the "Godfather of Soul," not the American visual artist James Brown. The story identified Brown simply as an American artist. Correction published August 21, 2003, page 4.
