As punishment for possessing more than 25,000 pages of proprietary documents from rival Lockheed Martin, The Boeing Co. yesterday was stripped of seven Air Force satellite launch contracts previously awarded for its Delta 4 rocket.
Those military missions, representing more than $1 billion worth of business, will now be flown by Lockheed Martin's Atlas 5 rocket.
Boeing also lost three more forthcoming launch contracts that were to have been awarded to Boeing but instead will go to its defense rival.
And the Air Force suspended Boeing's space units from competing for new government ...
