Get slimed!(making crafts with everyday things in the kitchen)

Want to make something slimy, gooey, sticky and icky? Of course you do!

Amazingly, the following experiments make fun icky stuff out of everyday things you can find in your kitchen. IS it plastic? IS it putty? Why is it doing that? See if your friends can guess what your creations are made of.

 
SLITHERY SLIME 
 
YOU NEED: 
 
  1/4 cup white glue (if you use a 
coloured glue, you don't 
need food colouring) 
  1/4 cup regular tap water 
  1/4 cup warm tap water 
  1/4 cup borax 
3 drops food colouring 
 
1 In a bowl, 
mix the glue 
with the cold 
water. Add the 
food colouring.
