After a long winter, warm days bring people back to the historic waterfront of Lunenburg, N.S. It's been a gathering place since Foreign Protestants (as Protestant settlers from Germany, Switzerland and the principality of Montbeliard were called by the British) first landed there in June 1753.
"I have a picture of Lunenburg in 1978," said Rev. Laurence Mawbinney, Lunenburg's mayor and the minister of St. Andrew's Church. "Back then, the waterfront looked neglected.
