Environmental concerns are a major focus for those involved in confined feeding operations. Thus, it's no surprise this was a popular topic at the summer animal and dairy science meetings in Phoenix, Ariz. The following is a review of several environmental papers plus other research that may be of special interest to the cattle industry.
