A lawsuit filed by Lockheed Martin [LMT] against Boeing [BA] on June 10 describes in detail the sensitive data its adversary had obtained on its proposal for the Air Force's next generation rocket program, for which both companies were competing to develop and produce, and says Boeing is scheming to monopolize the U.S. market for medium-, intermediate- and heavy-lift space launches.
Ultimately, the Air Force selected both companies to move forward with the multi-billion dollar Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) program but gave Boeing the lion's share of future work, a decision that Lockheed Martin says in the June 10 suit has ...
