JOHN FASHANU today made the extraordinary claim that he was happy to be outed as a match-fixer by a national newspaper.
The former Wimbledon striker turned television star is pressing charges against the News of the World after he was accused of rigging matches.
Fashanu received a [pounds sterling]5,000 deposit in [pounds sterling]50 notes on Friday night for agreeing to fix a match after a series of meetings with undercover reporters, including the infamous Mazher Mahmood, posing as Arab businessmen.
