COMIC legend Bob Hope died with a ''smile on his face'' and a trademark wisecrack right at the end, his family said yesterday.
The British-born entertainer died of pneumonia on Monday night at his home in Toluca Lake, California, two months after celebrating his 100th birthday.
His daughter Linda said that when asked shortly before his death where he wanted to be buried, he said: ''Surprise me.''
She added: ''Dad had an amazing send off. All the family were together with him. I don't think he could have asked for a more peaceful, beautiful death. ...
