MORE SPEED? NOT SO FAST! Consumers may not be interested in upgrading their Internet access to high-speed broadband, according to a new report released by the Pew Internet and American Life Project. The study found that while Internet access among Americans has increased 50% in the last year, the rate at which users are subscribing to broadband networks is slowing, indicating a possible downturn in the relatively new field of broadband technology.
