Jul. 29--LINCOLN, Mass.--Financial difficulties have forced Melucci's Lincoln Lanes, the bowling alley owned by Town Councilwoman Patricia M. Melucci and her husband, Edward, into receivership.

In a court order entered July 17, Superior Court Judge Michael J. Silverstein appointed one of the Meluccis' creditors to oversee the business temporarily, until a permanent receiver can be appointed.

The receiver has the authority to conduct the business and to borrow money, collect debt, and pay debt on the business's behalf.
