Four abandoned mixed Shih Tzu/Lhasa apso dogs were found in Oneida over the past few days, and authorities believe the person who left them also ditched six other dogs of the same mixture in Fulton.
"I would say these were from a puppy mill breeder who was throwing their old breeds out," Shelly English, Wanderers' Rest executive director, said Tuesday. "They were thrown in the street and left to fend for themselves."
Fulton police picked up six Shih Tzu/Lhasa apso dogs Friday morning at C.V. Abbott Park on Fulton's east side.
