GREEN BAY -- It's a nice little story, Gilbert Brown re-signing with the Green Bay Packers and putting himself in position to retire as a member of the team that made him famous.
After all, the popular nose tackle, who became an icon during the team's Super Bowl runs in the 1990s, once turned down more money from the Jacksonville Jaguars to re-sign with the Packers after receiving letters from local school children who didn't want to see the big man leave.
