WASHINGTON, July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Daily intake of natural Vitamin E is recommended as a leading method to counter forgetfulness, according to the Johns Hopkins Medical Letter, "Health After 50."
Dr. Peter V. Rabins, a psychiatrist and medical editor at Johns Hopkins, recommends "taking 400 IU (international units) to l,000 IU of natural Vitamin E daily."
Writing in the column "Consultation Corner" in the coming August issue of the Johns Hopkins publication, Dr. Rabins said that natural Vitamin E provides "increased protection from free radicals -- molecules that are thought to contribute to the aging process."
