You're facing another summer weekend gathering with friends. You grilled burgers last week, made grilled pizza the week before that and kebabs the week before that. Wanting to get out of the grilling rut, but still wanting to cook outside, you're looking for something different.
How about a crab boil?
"This is a great idea for family picnics and neighborhood get- togethers," says chef Brett Stein of Catering by Michael's in Morton Grove. "It's a nice alternative."
No need to run out and buy any special equipment. All you need is a big pot for boiling and a heat source, he says.
