--(BUSINESS WIRE)

The Presidio Trust, created by Congress in 1996, oversees about 1,200 acres at the Presidio of San Francisco, a former US Army base that is now a national park site. The Army left in 1994. The primary goal is to generate enough revenue by the year 2013 so that the Trust can be completely self-sufficient and not rely on public monies. The Presidio is home to 2,400 people who live in more than 1,000 units of housing. Some 2,000 people work in 175 organizations that have located here. These organizations have generated $10.6 million in revenue. The operations budget for the Trust is about $38.4 million.
