Aug. 1--A Vancouver business development company plans to build a 17-million-gallon ethanol plant in North Dakota, a sister operation to one planned in Boardman, Ore., both to supply ethanol to the Pacific Northwest.
Makad Corp. of Vancouver and Monsanto Enviro-Chem Systems, a subsidiary of St. Louis-based Monsanto, have formed an alliance to develop the North Dakota project at Williston and the Boardman project.
