THE dark cloud of gloom which will envelop the St Darius and St Gireno Stadium tomorrow afternoon will, sadly, be all too familiar to Jackie McNamara.
One minute's silence will be observed in memory of FBK Kaunas striker Audrius Slekys, tragically killed in a road accident on Sunday evening.
McNamara will be able to empathise with the distraught family and friends of Slekys, following a traumatic summer in which he, too, lost a loved one.
The popular Scotland international endured the heartache of losing his beloved mother, Linda, after a courageous struggle against cancer.
