Aug. 2--Credit unions have seen enormous change in who they can serve and the economy in which they operate during the last few years.
John Murphy has been as close to it as just about anyone. He has been president of the Maine Credit Union League and Synergent, the league's service subsidiary, since 1992.
He has been with the league for 30 years and was vice president of corporate services before being appointed president.
The league offers its member credit unions educational seminars, an array of training programs and planning services. It also ...
