ATLANTA, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- In an expansion of a national program launched in 2002, Assurant Group, BB&T, Citigroup, HFC and Beneficial, State Farm and Wachovia Corp. today began construction on a new home that will provide safe, quality, affordable housing for a Cobb County family.
The home in Mableton, Georgia, is one of 14 starting this weekend as part of Community Build Day 2003, an international community service initiative sponsored by The Financial Services Roundtable and Habitat for Humanity International.
