SYDNEY, July 24 Asia Pulse - Australia's levy-paying wool growers are set to vote on what level of their income will be used to fund future research and development for the industry.

WoolPoll 2003, to take place between late September and early November, will determine the wool levy rate to be paid by growers during the three financial years starting from July 1, 2004.

The poll, taken every three years, was first held in 2000.

The levy was set at two per cent, the rate at which it currently stands.
