Aug. 6--Longtime Colleyville residents have watched the past crumble away as buildings rich with history have been torn down to make way for new development.
But community leaders are making an effort to save historical buildings as part of a project the City Council will consider tonight. The Historical Preservation Committee wants to work with the city staff and city groups to identify structures worth saving and to find locations for them.
The result could be a designated historic area, similar to the Log Cabin Village in Fort Worth or the Torian ...
