Aug. 4--Standard TV & Appliance has released a series of computer animated television commercials advertising its various sales.

"Tent Sale," an ad featuring an animated version of Oregon Sports Hall of Famer and sports broadcaster Bill Schonely, debuted July 28. This ad will continue to run through Saturday.

An edited version of the ad, "10Hr Sale," which ran Fourth of July weekend and also features Schonely, will be released around Labor Day.

PangHansen Design developed the animated Schonely character, which has been in production since November 2002.
