Aug. 6--AUSTIN, Texas--Texans could be betting on jackpots of over $100 million as early as this fall as a result of Tuesday's decision by the Texas Lottery Commission to join New York, Massachusetts and eight other states in the Mega Millions game.
"We feel like we've won the lottery," said a jubilant Penelope Kyle, executive director of the Virginia Lottery and president of the Mega Millions group, one of two multi-state big-jackpot games competing for the state's business.
